Under the 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Local Formula Solicitation, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is proposing the procurement of one (1) ground penetrating radar system, two (2) speed awareness monitor radar trailers, two (2) bullet trajectory kits, training/conference room furniture, and one (1) paper shredder. This grant has an allocation of funding by the Bureau of Justice totaling $79,575.
The application for federal assistance under this grant is due by August 24, 2023 and comments from the public regarding this grant proposal are encouraged.
