CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR AGGRAVATED CRIME AGAINST NATURE

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On September 26, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Clint E. Ashworth, 45, Lake Charles, sexually assaulting a family member under the age of 15, earlier this year. 

 

After further investigation, on November 29, Ashworth was arrested and booked in the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated crime against nature.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $1.5 million. 

 

The investigation is continuing.  CPSO Detective Sonny Schiro is the lead investigator on this case.

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
