CPSO ARRESTS STUDENT FOR THREAT

Lake Charles –

 

On December 13 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified in reference to a student who attends Moss Bluff Middle School making a threat.

           

During the initial investigation detectives learned a 14 year old student made threats to blow up the school and shoot up the school.    After further investigation he was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with menacing.  The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted in the investigation.

           

CPSO Detective Cody Ferguson is the lead investigator on this case. 

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
